Thessaloniki Film Festival’s special edition IN APPRECIATION was published out of commerce in December 2020, presenting a little-known screenplay by Michael Cacoyannis based on C.P. Cavafy’s famous poem Expecting the Barbarians (more widely known as Waiting for the Barbarians).
